Kinetic Great Blue Heron Necklace

Entirely handmade, this Great Blue Heron necklace hangs from an 18" chain and features  kinetic legs. Each leg bends at the thigh & knee, while also having retractable talons. From the heron's chest, various shades of blue Miyuki beads are strung on a dangling, delicate 3.5" silver chain. At the end of this chain is a 14k gold-fill trout charm, meant to loop onto the small peg between the heron's beak. Wear the heron with the trout chain in its mouth or dangling from its chest, as though it's hunting above the water's surface.
